Solve maze using image manipulations software:
1. convert to a simple black/while picture using a threshold filter
2. fill the left (or right) wall from the entry with a color
3. follow between the colored and uncolored wall

Nobody talks about a very simple fact: Functional Programming is either to apply a function to an input or recursion.
The one doesn't work without the other, but in Haskell your either a pro with zipWith, map, foldl and so on or you write simple functions with recursion.
I'm at state 2 =)
But I think FP is still a pain in the ass if you have to handle different states which depend on one another.
